Until He Comes: Understanding the End-Time Prayer Movement by Billy Humphrey. Forerunner Publishing, 2009. 125 pp.

God is passionate about His people, His “treasured possession,” and desires to hear the prayers of His people at all times. As in the days of the first tabernacle when the fire was not to go out (Leviticus 6:13), and according to Isaiah God has set watchmen to pray for Jerusalem night and day (Isaiah 62:6), so today the Bride must faithfully watch, pray, and cry “Come!” (Revelation 22:17)

In Until He Comes, a former youth pastor and now leader of a 24/7 prayer ministry in Atlanta, Georgia writes an explanation of and a call for increasing prayer as the return of the Lord Jesus approaches. This entry-level book includes some of the author’s testimony concerning prayer, a review of 24/7 worship in Scripture, and a brief history of night and day prayer throughout history since the first coming of Jesus.
